About Regulation Lab
Regulation Lab is the educational division of J1A, dedicated to making neuroscience, nutrition, and nervous system health accessible, interactive, and engaging.
Founded by Danielle DaSilva, Regulation Lab was created from a simple belief: people make better decisions when they understand how their bodies and brains work.
Through workshops, live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and wellness experiences, Regulation Lab teaches the science behind stress, emotional regulation, hydration, nutrition, brain function, and human performance in a way that is practical and easy to understand.
Our programs serve schools, community organizations, wellness events, athletic programs, and corporate teams, translating complex scientific concepts into real-world tools that participants can immediately apply to their everyday lives.
At Regulation Lab, we explore questions such as:
- How does hydration affect focus and cognitive performance?
- What happens in the brain during stress?
- How do nutrition and lifestyle habits influence mood and energy?
- What is the role of the nervous system in emotional regulation?
- How can small daily choices improve long-term health and well-being?
Our goal is not simply to educate—it's to empower. We believe knowledge becomes meaningful when it can be experienced, practiced, and integrated into daily life.
By combining neuroscience, wellness, and experiential learning, Regulation Lab helps people build a deeper understanding of themselves and develop the tools to feel calmer, think clearer, and perform at their best.
Because before we can change our habits, we must understand the systems that drive them.
